It is with sorrow and love that the family of Tyler Shane Richmond announces the death of their son on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born March 3, 1995, at Beckley, the son of Perry P. & Karmin Gandee Richmond of Princeton and his mother, Sunny Renee Lowry of Louisville KY. Tyler was a student at Princeton Senior High School and a member of the Class of 2013. He was a member of the JROTC and was presuming a military future. He loved spending time with his father and his family. Many wonderful things will be said about Tyler's life; he will be remembered as a gentle giant, loyal, sweet and devoted to his friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Willard Richmond and his maternal great grandparents Ed & Margaret Young. Tyler is survived by his loving parents, Perry & Karmin Richmond of Princeton and Sunny Lowry of Louisville KY; two sisters Jenna Grace Gilmore of the home and Kristin Renee Lowry of Oak Hill; grandparents Maxine Richmond of Hinton, Dolores & Clyde Dangerfield of Charleston SC, Beverly & Larry Herron of Beckley. Aunts Anita Phillips, Nora Richmond, Dale Richmond, Christy Lowry, Betty Donald, Tabitha Cox and Uncles Mike Cox, Troy Gandee and Matthew Richards. Special cousins, Miller Thomas Cox, Rhiannon Richards, Dana Richards and a host of other beloved cousins. Special mention also goes to Becky Ward, a dear family member.
